THE Harry Gwala District netball team emerged victorious and won a trophy at the South African Local Government Authority games in Richards Bay from December 8 to 11.

The players and coaches celebrated when the team beat King Cetshwayo
District Munici-
pality 43-30 in the finals.

“Last year we played the finals with King Cetshwayo District Municipality and won 60-29.

“Harry Gwala District netball team has dedicated players that understand one another when playing,” said Simphiwe Cele, the team’s general manager.

Netball goal-keeper Refilue
Nketsa, defender Mpho Sephu and centre Lindiswa Qhina were given certificates of recognition for their efforts.

Cele thanked people and sponsors who supported the team and wished them a happy Christmas and New Year.
