THE TLC Hospice Christmas tree was switched on at a Christmas event organised by Tender Loving Care (TLC) Hospice in Kokstad recently. TLC Hospice Chief Executive Officer, Helen Patrick said lighting a Christmas tree is a commemoration and celebrating life with survivors of terminal illnesses. “This is a special time for people to remember their loved ones and celebrate together. TLC has been part of Kokstad community for 10 years and we hope to continue helping people for the next 10 years,” said Patrick.

TLC Hospice provides care and support to terminally ill patients. It currently cares for more than 350 patients on monthly basis.

More than 60 Children are assisted to do school-work and are monitored for social and emotional problems on a daily basis. TCL Hospice wishes a Merry Christmas and a new year to people of Kokstad. - Supplied.
