THE special task team assigned to investigate political killings in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking assistance from the public to locate two male suspects wanted in connection with the attempted murder of three Umzimkhulu councillors last week.
Photos of the men have been released to the public to help police with the investigation.

The councillors were attacked by unknown suspects in the Ibisi area and two were seen fleeing the scene in a red motor vehicle.

Hawks spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi appealed to anyone who can assist with information regarding the whereabouts of the men to urgently contact investigating officer Warrant Officer Bonginkosi Jeza on 071 531 7233 or crime stop on 08600 10111.
