Intention to rename Sisonke District of Education

The Department of Education in Sisonke District hereby declares the intention to change the name from Sisonke District to Harry Gwala District from January­ 2016. The intention to change and the choice of the name is informed by the political transformation which aligns and renames education district offices to district municipalities where the district office is located.

The department therefore invites all, including education stakeholders, interested persons and or groups to tender their written submission/s for consideration by the Department of Education.

The submissions stated above must be hand delivered between 8am to 4pm on weekdays, public holidays excluded, to: Office No. 5, 8 Main Street, JY Building, Kokstad.

The closing date for all submissions is 25 November at 4pm. Late, telegraphic, emailed or faxed submissions will not be considered.
