ON Saturday, netball teams from four local municipalities in the Harry Gwala District will be facing tough competition at the South African Local Government Authority (Salga) games in Umzimkhulu. Netballers from the Greater Kokstad Netball Association will also be participating at the games with twelve players from the area set to represent Kokstad.

Greater Kokstad Netball Association chairperson Berbeto Mnikina said the team will be playing hard to make sure they win. “Team players have received a lot of training in preparation for the games,” said Mninika, who added that coaches will also receive training this weekend.

A local driving school recently donated t-shirts to the Greater Kokstad Netball Association players.
