SLINDILE Makhonza (22) from Fairview area in Ixopo has entered the Miss Eagle South Africa 2018 and is asking for support from people when the event takes place in December.

To get the title, she is required to do community work and receive the most Facebook “likes” and “votes”.

As part of her community work, she helped Grade 1 to Grade 7 pupils with maths, reading and spelling at an outreach programme held in Ixopo. She is studying occupational health and safety at Oxbridge Academy in Stellenbosch.

“I saw an advert about the pageant on social media and entered by sending my details and a motivation on why I want to win the title. I am asking people to vote for me and follow my Facebook page so I can qualify for the semi-finals,” said Makhonza.

To vote for her, SMS Slindile Mkhonza to 35334 and follow her Facebook page: Slindile Makhonza Miss Eagle South Africa 2018 Contestant-KZN.
