ON Saturday, the 9 April St. Monica’s netball first team traveled to Maclear in the Eastern Cape to participate in the Maclear Netball Festival.

The competition was tough but the girls took up the challenge and played very well. They played four matches of which they drew one and lost three with very small margins. The girls learnt a lot and there was a great improvement in their play.

On the same date the rugby first team also took part in the Maclear festival. The U15 boys played really

well and their performance was of a good standard.
