Maluti pupils show their skills

2018-02-23 06:00

PUPILS from schools around Maluti showed their reading skills at a literacy expo held in Maluti on Wednesday.

Grade 1 to Grade 12 pupils participated in poetry, mock trials, drama, a book review and singing. The expo was meant to promote the reading and writing skills of the pupils.

Pupils from Hardenberg Junior Secondary performed a play about an election campaign. “This exhibition is helping pupils to improve their reading skills,” said Hardenberg teacher Mahlape Mongoato.

Pupils were told to use libraries for whatever information they require. Books were donated to some schools in Maluti to promote reading.
