MATATIELE Community Church congregants who played a positive in the church were given certificates and trophies by their Pastor Michael Baraza at a thanksgiving ceremony last weekend.

The church also celebrated it’s eighth birthday and commemorated World Aids Day, where those living with HIV were given words of hope and others told to get tested and so know their status.

Sunday school teacher Unam Gaga and church elders Zodwa Ncanwa and Baqwa Baraza were some of the congregants who got certificates.

The pastor thanked everyone and wished them a happy festive season.
