FOR Mabira Nthoba turning 100 is a major milestone and a blessing from God.
Healthy Mabira celebrated her birthday with neighbours, family and community members at Zwelitsha village last Thursday.

Her daughter-in-law Manthuseng Nthoba helps Mabira with her washing and food and takes her outside during the day.

“I take care of Mabira as she likes tea and soft food like porridge and meat. She also loves reading.”

Boxer Store in Matatiele donated two cakes for her birthday celebration.

“Happy birthday Gogo, you taught us respect and how to love school,” said her 22-year-old grandchild,
Phumello Nthoba.
