I THINK it’s now proper to say “season’s greetings” to you, dear reader. It’s hard to believe we’re now counting the days before we break for Christmas.

Your municipality believes in providing you with information that is easy for you to access.

Knowledge does not only give you power, if used effectively, it can improve your life.

It is for this reason that we will not stop keeping you continuously informed of policies and programmes that affect you and the progress made in implementing them.

All roads lead to Matat Music Festival

Preparations for our seventh Matatiele Music Festival are under way. This year’s festive season events are a catalyst to increasing the tourism influx and attract potential investors to Matatiele.

They also serve as an initiative that contributes to the economic and social development of the community of Matatiele.

This festival will be held on December 9 at the Matatiele Old Rugby Fields. Confirmed artists thus far include the Jaziel Brothers, Mafikizolo, Zahara, Jimmy Dludlu, Zahara, Oskido, DJ Bongs, Siphokazi, Professor, Dr. Malinga, Malini, Thulasizwe & Josta, Juniavet DJ, CSana, Vumar, Sphectacula and Navies.

Your hosts this year are the TV personality Somizi “Somgaga” and radio personalities Selbyonce and Collen Zondo.

Visit our website and Facebook page for a public notice regarding vendors who wish to trade at this year’s festival.
