Municipality awards excellence

As part of celebrating the excellence of municipal members, Khanya Naledi is a good investment in the municipality in putting together a recognition programme that promotes a culture of good practices. It was a fun-filled day in our municipality with employees dressed in the golden oldies style, coming to be awarded and acknowledged for their good work in 2017.

These excellence awards serve as a token of appreciation on the part of the municipality while they also hoping those individuals, the recipients, remain the shining stars of our institution.

It is an established human resource practice in the modern world to recognise excellence and other practices performed by municipal members

To ease things a bit, this year’s event included an interesting feature called the “humorous awards”. Another feature to note in the awards is highlight the various talent within the municipality, to entertain staff and councillors.

The event was held on December 13, and like every year, it was a success and every deserving individual got their award according to their performance throughout the year.

Members who were also awarded were those who have served the municipality for more than five years.
