KOKSTAD business woman, Carmen Klein, hosted Miss Mount Currie 2018 at Bhongweni Youth Centre last Saturday. The event went well, hosting 35 Mount Currie Secondary School contestants.

Yolanda Yalezo won the Miss Mount Currie 2018 crown for the senior category and Yanga Mbonambi won the crown for junior’s.

In the senior category, Sihle Ngxishe attained the first princess title and Mikhaila Stevens second princess. For juniors’, Athini Silevu obtained first princess while Mihlali Mjoli obtained second. Klein motivated pupils to believe in themselves and stay faithful, strong and beautiful.

“Pupils have showed lots of talent at the beauty pageant. A strong positive self image is the best possible preparation for success in life,” she said when she gave her motivational speech.

She thanked all sponsors and said the next event will be held next year.
