WARM greetings to all Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma citizens. First and foremost I would like to take this opportunity to thank God for keeping us safe thus far and for appreciating the NDZ community for the human spirit they have displayed during the course of the festive season, welcoming our visitors with warm hands and restoring Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma Municipality as a home away from home.
We congratulate our matriculants, the Class of 2016, for their outstanding performance, this proved beyond doubt that the future of our country is bright.

Congratulations to the Class of 2016, in particular schools that fall under the jurisdiction of our municipality, for their performance. The Class of 2016 got exceptional results and they excelled academically.
Your hard work has been justly rewarded with an overall national pass rate of 76.2% up from the previous figures 74%, and 69.5% for KZN. This shows an improvement.

We are delighted with our three matric pupil’s performance - Khuboni Lungisani from Dingeka High, who earned six distinctions and achieved 80.62%. Sithole Nomonde from Masameni High with six distinctions and achieved 78.37% and Ntshele Khanyisani from Dingeka High with four distinctions and achieved 77.75%.
This proves beyond a doubt that one can achieve anything if he or she sets her or his mind on it. You have made us proud.
To the top achievers we say the sky is not the limit because we have footsteps on the moon. The journey that you have embarked on is an assured journey to success. We all have faith and confidence in you because you have demonstrated you have the capacity and capability to perform and achieve at the highest level.
To those who did not make it we say 2017 is another opportunity granted to you to dust yourselves off and chase your dreams.

The back-to-school programme has commenced, and a delegation from the municipality, Department of Education and our Sukuma Sakhe stakeholders will be visiting schools around our municipality.

I hope that 2017 will bring nothing but joy and prosperity. Until we meet, stay blessed
