THE Harry Gwala District netball team is preparing for the upcoming KwaZulu-Natal netball U17 and U19 finals in Bhongweni Youth Centre on August 26. Teams from eThekwini Metro, Ugu, Umgungundlovu, King Cetshwayo, Ilembe, Umkhanyakude, Uthukela, Amajuba, Zululand, Harry Gwala and Umzinyathi will participate.

• The Harry Gwala District netball team was incorrectly named the Shayamoya High netball team in our August 11 edition and did well in the national U16 Top Challenge Tournament in Johannesburg from August 4 to 6.

The team general manager, Simphiwe Cele, said the team was not disqualified at the national tournament as was reported rather points were deducted due to the target system.
