On the Couch this month

2017-05-12 06:00

TALK show host, “women advocate” and relationship and business coach, Tessa Green is bringing another show to the South Coast after the great response she received at her previous show at Desroches Hotel, when human rights were discussed.

Green said feedback was so motivating she felt she had to have another information and topical show in May.

“With the last show being topical and motivating another date for a show was a must.

“Some of the comments received were, ‘the show must be regularly done’, ‘great motivation and the sky is a the limit’ and others said it is unique and should be done monthly,” said Green.

She said although demand is high she cannot confirm regularity of the show, but is considering having it once a month.

The next On the Couch will be May 28.

“As May is the month to honour mothers and June follows with
Father’s Day and Youth Day, I decided that this month the show will cover all three.

“The show will be ‘Focus on the Family’ where we will be discussing how we can assist families to start talking to teach other again, the
importance of family time, helping parents understand their teens
and teens understanding their
parents, focusing on the moral
degeneration of community and family life and how we all play a roll in raising tomorrow’s leaders of strong character and unshakeable virtue.

“We will be discussing all things that are causing a breakdown
of relationships in families from communication to sex, drugs, friendships, choices both with adults and teens.

“A very important show not to be missed and as part of the show we will profile two fashion designers, Zipho Sizakazi Sidumo from Cachet and Zuki Mqeke from Afrocardic,” said Green

She said the two designers have partnered with her to host the talk shows in aid of Themba Club in Margate.

“The two ladies have teamed up and their outfits will be modelled and on sale at the Pink Couch on the day. Also gracing the event we will have a performance from a gospel group, Twiice.
