POETS will attend a poetry session at the Umzimkhulu Hotel tomorrow where “youth challenges” will also be addressed.
The show is to be hosted by the Port of Art Company from Durban.

Organiser Kwazi Dlangisa said the show is supported by the Department of Arts and Culture and Umzimkhulu Local Municipality.
Port of Art members have organised the event as their way of giving back to the community and exposing young poets.

“Young people are not interested in what happened in 1976, they are curious about opportunities that can make them prosperous,” said Dlangisa.

The programme director is Luleka Mhlanzi and artists who will perform include Thando Fuze, Xoli Zion Vilakazi, Mxolisi Mtshali and local poets.
