YOUNG people from Umzimkhulu and surrounds attended a
poetry “sitting’ at Umzimkhulu Hotel last Saturday.

The show was organised by the Port of Art Company in Durban.
Local poets Kwazi Ndlangisa, Thando Fuze, Xoli Zion Vilakazi and Mxolisi Mtshali “performed” at the event.

Ndlangisa, one of the organisers, thanked the young people for attending. He said 20 young people from Umzimkhulu wanted to pursue poetry and the Port of Art Company will help them by providing creative writing workshops and training.
“The aim of the show was to bring young people together and do poetry,” said Ndlangisa.
