Police seeking relatives of ‘unclaimed body’

2018-04-20 06:00

MOUNT Fletcher Police are searching for the relatives of a man whose body has been left unclaimed at a government mortuary for almost nine months. SAPS spokesperson Captain Raphael Motloung said that the man was found dead on the side of the R56 road next to Xaxazana village on July 5, 2017. It is believed the man was walking next to the road when he was allegedly hit by a car. “The man was wearing brown pants, a cream jacket, grey socks and black boots and is estimated to be 40 years old”, said Motloung. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Warrant Officer Nkomo on 078 498 9161 at the Mount Fletcher Police Station.
