ON February 22, St Monica’s U11 boys’ cricket team played against Bergview College at St Monica’s and the toss was won by St Monica’s, who opted to bowl first.

St Monica’s players Phila Gigaba and Katleho Bobore greatly improved their bowling skills and their team won the match.

Pupils also enjoyed a Valentine’s Day soccer tournament that was held at the school. A floating trophy and a cash prize were won at the tournament. Mini cricket was played by U7 and U9 St Monica’s pupils against Bergview and the pupils showed good sportsmanship.
