KOKSTAD rugby player, Emmanuel van Wyhe’s (19) life long dream of becoming a revered rugby player is getting closer to becoming a reality.

Wyhe who is now training at the Sharks Academy in Margate said he is well on his way to a flourishing rugby future through the academy.

In October last year, van Wyhe went to Mauritius with the Southern KwaZulu-Natal (SKZN) U13 rugby team. He said young people with a dream of a career in rugby should have a passion and dedication for the sport.

“Last week, I played with the South Coast Warriors and I am happy to being doing something that I am passionate about,” said van Wyhe. His father Reuben van Wyhe who lives in Kokstad said Emmanuel was a blessing to the family and he would continue to support him throughout his career.
