Ruling party NEC is divided

2016-09-09 06:00

THE campaign to occupy Luthuli House is not a campaign that targets a particular individual. It is not even a question of whether you support the action, rather it is a question of whether you are prepared to face the “rot” in the ANC.

We cannot sit paralysed because we want to be praised for being disciplined, but stupid revolutionaries. The call to occupy Luthuli House is meant to save the ANC from total collapse because at the moment the ANC national executive committee (NEC) is living on borrowed time before it explodes and destroys us.
This campaign is focused on the ANC as a movement not on an individual leader, although each epoch is characterised by an individual leader who happens to be the face of the moment. No internal process will ever yield any progressive outcome in the current situation.

We must understand that our NEC currently is being held to ransom by its indecisiveness and failure to hold anyone accountable for his or her actions or inactions.
The NEC is faced with the paralysis of factionalism within it and it can't make any decision because they are divided, but intervention from membership will save the ANC from total collapse.

The NEC can't decide on the Hlaudi, Nkandla, defiance by Muthambi Faith, Marikana commission outcomes, the Ntlebeza appointment, Msebenzi Zwane, Pravin Gordhan, Mcebisi Jonase, WL, MKMVA, YL, SACP and Cosatu issues. The reason for failure to decide on these matters is because there are divisions within the ANC NEC.

Conference resolutions can't be implemented because Treasury is contesting them. SAA, Eskom, Denel and many other institutions are collapsing because ANC NEC is divided.
Free education and minimum wage, banning of labour brokers, corruption that led to the collapse of Amathole District Municipality Sanitation Programme, which involved the family of the ANC secretary general, nationalisation of strategic minerals, state mining company and the role of the Reserve Bank to advance the national agenda are some of challenges ANC NEC cannot provide leadership because of its paralysis.
These are not challenges of individuals. If I was in Johannesburg I would be joining those occupying Luthuli House to demand the resignation of all ANC NEC members and form a task team to convene a national consultative conference.

#OccupyLuthuliHouse# Hands off Ronald Ozzy Lamola, hands off.
