SAPS seek family members

THE SAPS is looking for the family of Joseph Diphapang Mpailane, aged about 30, dark in complexion with short hair.

His body was found in the Kokstad cemetery on October 5.

His fingerprints were sent to Pretoria for verification and it discovered he was from Holdfontein farm in Bloemfontein. It was also discovered he used No 6 Westenholding Hostel, Welkom as his second address.

SAPS are also seeking the relatives of another unidentified man at the government mortuary.

He is thought to be between 50 and 60 and dark in complexion.

His body was also found in the Kokstad cemetery.

After fingerprints were sent for verification­, it was discovered his name is Jabulani Sydney Hadebe, born in 1954, who comes from Port Shepstone.

SAPS spokesman Captain Dumisani Ncongo said both bodies are kept in government mortuary for identification and cases of murder have been opened.

“Police have arrested two suspects in relation to the murder cases and are in custody,” said Ncongo.
