ON July 19, a women’s network was launched at an event attended by female SAPS officers in the Mount Fletcher cluster at the Matatiele Police Station.
SAPS spokesperson Raphael Motloung said Captain Tshoba from the Maluti Police Station was appointed to lead the network.
Five officers were appointed to visit a special school in Xaxazana village to motivate pupils.

The SAPS will also visit a centre for mentally challenged children in Katkop area.
“I want women to get together and fight abuse against women in all spheres. I also want the women’s network to visit vulnerable people and bring hope,” said Tshoba.
