BUILD it Umzimkhulu hosted an U13 soccer tournament where five local schools and seven football clubs participated last
Saturday, and were awarded prizes.

The tournament was established last year to give back to the community and encourage the youth to play sport.

Arsenal FC won the tournament after beating Try Again FC 2-1 on penalties and won a kit.

Try Again won a trophy and each school was given soccer balls.

Tournament organiser Gugulethu Jama said many young people
get involved in crime because they don’t participate in sport, and the tournament was hosted to motivate them to do so.

“I thank all the teams who participated,” said Jama.
