ST Monica’s Pre-School pupils celebrated Valentine’s Day with the theme “All you need is love”, last Friday. Pupils wore red, pink and white clothes and they enjoyed snacks and drinks to celebrate the day.

A Mr and Miss Valentine’s competition was held for junior phase pupils and Imange Nompokwe from Grade 2 and Kamvelihle Sabisa from Grade 3 won.

Senior pupils exchanged gifts and participated in a soccer tournament. Grade 8 and Grade 9 pupils hosted a fund-raising activity through the tuck shop.

Also last Friday, some pupils visited Cedarberg farm for a leadership camp and they received a warm welcome.

Pupils participated in various activities which aimed to build strong relationships, acquire knowledge and have fun.
