AN Eland Heights Police Station van was sent to a local workshop for maintenance repairs, but was later found in Mafube village in Maluti full of stolen goods.

The stolen items found on Wednesday include cellphones, money and alcohol. Two employees from the workshop are now behind bars.

SAPS spokesperson Captain Raphael Motloung said the employees, aged 25 and 27, were arrested for using the vehicle without permission and for alleged theft.

“The suspects will appear in court soon and if the garage owner in involved, he or she will also to be arrested,” said Motloung. - Supplied.
