ON Monday, a 49-year-old man from Maluti appeared in the Maluti Magistrate’s Court for allegedly being involved in the murder of three men. The bodies of the men were found decomposed near the Lugada bridge in Maluti. According to SAPS spokesperson Captain Khaya Tonjeni, the men, who are Lesotho nationals, were reportedly missing since August 17. “Their bodies were positively identified by their clothes and it is believed that they had been brutally assaulted for allegedly stealing stock,” he said.
