ACCORDING to Department of Education Kokstad circuit manager, Cedric Mseleku, the intervention of God is needed in schools to bring harmony.

Speaking to the Fever at a prayer session attended by teachers and local pastors in Kokstad Primary School last Thursday, Mseleku said that teachers in some schools were being attacked and that was making them feel unsafe.

The circuit has 26 schools currently preparing for mid-year exams.

“At the prayer, we thanked God for being with us and asked him to protect teachers and schools who are facing numerous challenges in society.

“We also prayed for pupils who will be sitting for mid-year exams before end May,” said Mseleku.

Mseleku said that the death of Jesus on the cross was also remembered during the prayer day by all who were present.
