RESIDENTS of Hagen Place and Hawthorn Street in Kokstad spent two nights in the dark after their electricity went off this week.

Residents said they had no electricity from Sunday, November 25 until Tuesday, November 27.

They informed Greater Kokstad Municipal electricians about the problem on Sunday and the problem was detected and fixed on Tuesday. They thanked municipal electricians who worked tirelessly to solve the problem.

Greater Kokstad Municipality spokesperson Nthabeleng Matshoba said a few areas were left in the dark when a storm hit Kokstad on Sunday.
