AT a traditional fashion show in Kokstad last Saturday, people wore traditional garments in support of local designers.

The show was hosted by SSA Holdings Pty Ltd and Cavals Modeling Management Agency.

Event organiser Mpumelelo Gxumisa said the event was to promote the work done by local designers who make traditional garments.

“Most local designers fail to market their products well so the show was hosted for those who wish to buy traditional outfits, which people should wear to events.”

A Cedarville fashion designer, Aphendulwa Pono, was one of the designers, who showcased her garments.
