UNDERBERG author and poet, Kyle Allan, encouraged young people to be passionate about writing

He was speaking at a one-day session with authors and poets at the Bulwer Art Centre last Saturday.

Last year, Allan published House Without Walls, which drew a lot of interest from young people.

The session was organised by Bulwer authors and poets, including Malusi Ndlovu, who said it was held to encourage young people to write.

Ndlovu said the session went well as young authors had the opportunity to ask how to write books.

“Book writers are preparing to compile new versions that condemn the abduction of women and children and poets are to write poems that ask men and people to protect women and children,” said Ndlovu.

Mxolisi Phoswa, Mthobisi Shezi, Sanele Mjwara and storyteller, Sbonelo Memela performed at the event.
