Mayor Ngeneleni Mncwabe of Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma Municipality, which includes Bulwer, Creighton and Underberg, condemned the attacks and called for speedy investigations. The Underberg Farmers’ Association Chairman, Kelvin Craig has condemned the recent farm attack. “We consider that all farm attacks are a threat to food security and ask relevant authorities to act swiftly and decisively to bring these shocking acts to an end.” The SAPS have asked anyone with information to come forward and report anything they think will help.
