THE Harry Gwala District Sport Confederation is hoping for good future returns after 26 young people from the district participated in a two-day swimming training sessions at St Patrick’s College in Kokstad last weekend.

The training helped to improve their swimming techniques and fitness.

Harry Gwala District Sport Confederation chairperson John Motsa said they want to introduce swimming as a sport in the district and called on local municipalities to build swimming pools.

This year the confederation has trained coaches in netball, soccer, volleyball and boxing.
