KHARINA Secondary School’s (KSS) new school hall has been completed and matrics wrote their June exams in it.

The completion of phases two and three is the culmination of years of endeavours by role players, staff, pupils, the school governing body and parents, past and present.

Kharina salutes the role players as well as the school’s benefactors in ensuring that the school’s plans have come to fruition thus far.

The hall will serve various community needs as there is no other facility in the immediate vicinity.

The SGB is in the process of formulating the policy of the use of the hall, which will be made known to the community shortly.

The hall can accommodate about 800 people and has an adjoining dining area.

The hall however, remains a work in progress as the “finishing touches” still have to be completed, which is proving to be costly, so in this regard the school appeals to the “well-heeled” to show social solidarity and invest in the school and community project.

The KSS family are proud of achieving a significant feat and the school must rank as a front runner in the provision of quality education and is a beacon of hope for aspirant schools
