Matric, English and maths workshop to be held

THIS year’s matriculants have the opportunity to do a last- minute brush up on their English set works and the maths core syllabus­ this school holiday.

There will be a series of English workshops which will cover the Shakespeare play, novel and poetry content, themes and possible exam questions and how to answer the questions in the final examination. The maths workshop will cover the general overview of the maths core syllabus and tips on best ways to handle the exam papers.

The workshop will be held at Alexandra High School over the October holidays. The sessions will be conducted by experienced Grade 12 teachers.


Dates: 5 and 6 October (pupils to attend one of the days)

Time: Registration at 8.30am. Workshop is from 9am to 12.30pm.

Cost: R100

Cost: R100

Pupils attending the English and maths workshop will pay R150. Pupils are encouraged to attend these workshops as they will be beneficial in their preparation for their final exams. Pupils must attend in full school uniform. To book your place email in or SMS or whatsapp 083 784 1350. - Supplied
