THE Gay and Lesbian Network will host the Pink Mynah Pageant at the Protea Hotel Imperial in Jabu Ndlovu Street on December 4.

The evening will commence with a gala dinner in aid of the Gay and Lesbian Network, which works towards the recognition and upliftment of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) community.

The dinner will start at 5 pm and includes a three-course meal. Tickets are available at R300 per person or R2 800 per table of 10. Tickets are limited so book to avoid disappointment.

For those who just want to see the pageant, which also includes a fashion show, tickets are available for R50 each.

The masters of ceremonies will be the Gay and Lesbian Network’s Pierre Buckley, who won Mr PMB 2013 and Mr Gay South Africa Mr Congeniality 2014.

The other MC is Lucky Mthembu, who was crowned first princess in Miss Teen SA in 2009, was in the top 24 of Miss South Africa 2012, and is currently the face of Garnier. She is also a model for well-known retail stores.

Other activities planned for the festival include an arts and film festival, a street parade and loads of entertainment.
