Bail for murder accused

2015-08-26 06:00

REFILOE MALEBO (29) has been released on bail in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court for allegedly killing her mother-in-law, Kedibone Tlale (66).

As Express reported last week, Malebo apparently had a heated argument with Tlale and the disagreement turned physical.

Malebo then allegedly hit the older woman with a brick against the head, which caused her to bleed from her nose.

It is alleged that Malebo then dragged the unconscious Tlale into her bedroom and covered her with blankets.

The incident happened at about 20:00 at Phase 3 in Bloemfontein on Wednesday, 5 August.

Malebo appeared before the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court, charged with murder on Tuesday, 11 August, and she was granted bail of R500.

The matter has been postponed to 13 September.

Meanwhile, Tlale will be laid to rest in the Phahameng Cemetry on Saturday (22/08). The funeral service starts at 08:00 at House no. 52022 in Ipopeng
