Cheetahs feel confident

THE Toyota Free State Cheetahs will be in a positive mood ahead of their Absa Currie Cup tie against the Blue Bulls at Loftus Versveld on Friday (04/09). Kick-off is at 19:10.

Franco Smith’s troops go into this fixture on the back of two back-to-back victories over Griquas and Western Province, whom they defeated by 28-21 in Bloemfontein last Friday (28/09).

On the other hand, the Bulls will be equally confident to face the Cheetahs after they had registered four consecutive wins so far in the competition.

The Pretoria side have already beaten the Cheetahs by 57-19 in the same competition in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 8 August.

Meanwhile, Cheetahs players Cornal Hendricks and Oupa Mohoje will be available for selection after being excluded from the Springbok World Cup squad
