STRUGGLING National First Division (NFD) club African Warriors have asked the head coach, Morena Ramoreboli, to step aside following a discouraging start to the season.
Warriors have won just once in eight games and are second from the bottom with just five points accumulated thus far in their NFD campaign.
The Free State-based club has in the meantime elevated assistant coach, Klaas Khanye, to act as caretaker coach for their next two games against Mbombela United at home on Wednesday (28/10) and their away trip to Baroka on Saturday (31/10).
Warriors boss, Balekile Mzangwa, chose to be diplomatic, only confirming that they had merely asked Ramoreboli to step aside following the string of poor results.
Ramoreboli only joined Warriors at the beginning of the year from Maluti FET College, who he once guided to a surprise 4-1 victory over Orlando Pirates in February 2013.
