Diligence in God rewarded

2015-05-13 06:00

DAILY READING: 1 Samuel 22-24, Luke 12:1-31.

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings: he shall not stand before mean men . . . Anyone that is diligent in whatever they do shall stand before kings and not before obscure men. – Proverbs 22:29

This scripture works in pari passu (on equal terms) with Deuteronomy 28:13: We shall be above, the head and not the tail.

When a person is a tail, they put God into disrepute.

People are the tail based on the choices they make and the reason for this is a lack of diligence.

A mean man does not mean any harm, but is harmful.

A mean person according to the English dictionary is “unkind, too ordinary to make it, inferior, evil, wicked, low in status and esteem”.

People who lack diligence do not do things with all their energy and heart and those who do things half-heartedly are under a curse.

The first man who gave an inferior offering to God became a murderer.

Once a person is inferior they do not forgive, they murder, because life means nothing to them. Heaven has no plan for mean men.

Diligence is paying proper attention to a task and applying constant effort to accomplish a particular undertaking.

The heavens love diligence and it is another name of God, which is why He is on top.

People tried to bring God down, but it is not possible, because He is diligent.

Diligence is a spirit and that spirit is of God. If a person is not diligent, they will sleep too much and therefore slip off.

Prayer point: Call the blood of Jesus seven times, His name once and pray: Lord, I have been incompetent in handling Your work, have mercy on me. Today I make up my mind to be diligent in everything I do for You, in Jesus’ name.

WoW: “To be mean is meaningless.”
