Ensure facts are true

IT is not strange that Ben Venter is hiding a lot of incidents relating to the DA meeting in the Bohlokong New Hall.

The DA paid for the use of the hall on Sunday, but thereafter insisted to use the hall on Saturday as well, without paying for it.

Did the DA disclose to officials of the Dihlabeng Local Municipality that they were planning to arrange the chairs on Saturday? The Dihlabeng Local Municipality is not a fast-food outlet: Pay for one and get one free.

How could they have insisted that they wanted the keys on Saturday? Who would have taken responsibility for the contents of the hall on Saturday night? If something went missing, the DA would be the first to say that they do not have money to refund because they only got R100 000 from the Guptahs.

It is also very important that Venter takes note of the dress code of the council. What happened on 15 October during a council meeting is totally unacceptable and disrespectful to female councillors. It is also not the first time that this happened. We are all aware that the DA preaches that they will get rid of the old dry bark during the 2016 elections. It is therefore not strange that we will get letters every week to try and make an impression. Please make sure of your facts.
