THE Macufe Comedy Show, scheduled for Wednesday, 7 October, from 19:00 at The Dome (Old Grey Sports Grounds) in Bloemfontein, promises to be full of laughs.

Featuring the best of South African talent that money can buy, the show is part of the annual Mangaung African Cultural Festival (Macufe), which is in its 18th year.

The line-up features the hippest comedians on circuit right now.

Performers include David Kau, Mashabela Galane, Toll Ass Mo, Jason Goliath as well as Donovan Goliath.

These funnymen will be joined on stage by Skhumba Hlophe, Jay Boogie and Marc Lottering – who is yet to be confirmed as part of the line-up.

Kroonstad-born Kau is one of the most successful comedians in Mzansi and he has been featuring prominently in the show. He certainly will bring laughter to everyone.

Galane, meanwhile, has taken the local comedy to another level with his original jokes.

It is a good thing that he is returning to Macufe this year. He is sure to win himself more fans in the Free State.

Jason and Donovan, who are not brothers, as well as Hlophe and Boogie, have established themselves as stand-up comedians of note.

They are guaranteed to have audiences in stitches.

Audiences will certainly be getting their money’s worth by attending the show.

Tickets are available at R170 at Computicket and are also available at Shoprite and Checkers outlets nationwide.
