Opportunity knocks at expo

THE Sand Du Plessis Theatre will see over 11 000 people walking through its doors with learners and educators, as well as unemployed graduates and students, expected to attend the National Tourism Careers Expo 2015 under the theme Tourism: Alive with Opportunities.

The event will be held from Thursday (01/10) until Saturday (03/10).

The expo aims to position tourism as a career of choice and drive South Africa’s National Tourism Sector Strategy’s goal of creating 225 000 tourism job opportunities by 2020.

The programme of the three-day event includes:

) Presentations and motivational talks by South Africa’s leading tourism entrepreneurs and personalities.

) Exhibitions with Free State tourism products and related organisations.

) Platforms assisting the youth and unemployed graduates to prepare job applications
