2015-10-14 06:00

THE Roodepan police confiscated 47 Mandrax tablets, 13 straws of tik, three quartered Mandrax tablets, seven halved Mandrax tablets, a small plastic bag containing tik weighing 6 kg and a cellphone in a house in Canary Street, Roodepan, on Sunday (11/10).

Two women aged 22 and 29 years old were arrested in connection with the items, with an estimated street value of R11 350, as well as some cash.

The search at the house was triggered by a tip-off to Roodepan Crime Prevention from community members when they were on duty busy with their routine patrols. The suspects will appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court soon on a charge of dealing in drugs
