Season kicks off soon

THE 2015-’16 Absa Premiership season kicks off on Saturday, 8 August.

Free State Stars will open their season at home against Mpumalanga Black Aces, while their neighbours Bloemfontein Celtic will travel to Limpopo for a date with Polokwane City.

Kaizer Chiefs will begin their defence of the Premiership title against Chippa United in Port Elizabeth. Orlando Pirates have a tricky encounter against SuperSport United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The newcomers Golden Arrows and Jomo Cosmos are at home to the University of Pretoria and away to Maritzburg United respectively.

The 2015-’16 edition of the MTN8 Cup will commence with the quarter-final stages which are scheduled for 4 and 5 August.

The 2015 Telkom Knockout final will be played on Reconciliation Day, 16 December, whilst the Nedbank Cup final will be played on 28 May 2016.
