(32), who was arrested in connection with the murder of a 13-year-old girl, Nomvuyo Daki, will remain in custody until his next court appearance on 15 September.

The case was postponed on Wednesday (12/08) during Andrias’s brief court appearance in the De Aar Magistrate’s Court following his arrest for murder.

According to Lt. Sergio Kock, Nomvuyo’s body was found during the early hours of Sunday morning, 9 August, lying in the street in a location in De Aar.

It is alleged that Nomvuyo and a friend were visiting at the suspect’s house on the night.

“At some stage the friend left Nomvuyo with the suspect.

“It is not known what happened, but the body of the 13-year-old girl was found in the street near the 32-year-old man’s house.”

The deceased is reported to have suffered head injuries
