Two suspects ­arrested for murder

TWO suspects are expected to appear in court soon in connection with two separate cases of murder committed over the weekend.

The cases were opened by the Galeshewe police after both suspects had been arrested.

The first of the crimes was committed on Sunday (01/11) at about 03:35. The police were called after the discovery of Benjamin Nxoma’s (39) body in Mafungu Street in Galeshewe.

He was found lying at the kitchen door with a stab wound.

It is reported that he had been stabbed in the left side of his chest. A 17-year-old male was arrested as a suspect.

The second incident was on the same day at about 18:00.

Moses Paseka (27) was found in Moses Mvenda Street, Galeshewe, with stab wounds behind his right ear. He died on the scene. A 33-year-old male was arrested in connection with this case.
