2015-08-05 06:00

THE University of the Free State (UFS) will celebrate its reunion weekend 2015 on 28 and 29 August. Alumni can look forward to a weekend filled with opportunities to catch up with friends, engage with lecturers and explore the developments at the university.

Those who graduated in the 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s can enjoy special gatherings called Reunions for the Decades. There will also be a reception hosted by the UFS Rectorate for alumni who have graduated since 2000.

The anchor event is an opportunity for the university to celebrate the alumni community and laud distinguished alumni at the Chancellor’s Distinguished Alumni Luncheon.

The Student Representative Council Presidents’ Alumni Association will host a symposium for current students, Leadership: Linking Legacies and Futures.
