Volksblad and Central Local Newspapers in the Free State, including Express, are the printed media sponsor for Engo’s For Our Children Project for the 10th year.

People that buy a ticket of R30 to support all Engo’s departments stand a chance to win a new Ford Figo 1,5 AMB sponsored by Human Auto.

Des Williams, dealer principle of Human Auto, said at the launch of the project on 3 June, that Human Auto cares a lot for children and senior citizens.

“It will be a privilege to be part of this project to raise funds for people in need,” he said.

OFM joined in as the radio sponsor for For Our Children.

Christa Maree, Engo’s director of residential care and adoptions, said the launch is the beginning of a journey to make people’s lives better.

“More than 14 000 tickets were sold when the project ran during 2017. The tickets sold for R30 will make a huge difference in the lives of children, families, senior citizens, people with disabilities and the ill,” Maree said.

Randy September of the Free State Cheetahs handed over a signed Cheetah rugby jersey that will later be auctioned off for the project.

Tickets are available at Engo’s head office in Westerbloem.
